Feasible solutions for companies outside Europe

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) poses significant challenges for companies outside the European Union that offer their services in Europe. My work focuses on developing tailored solutions that support companies in implementing the complex requirements of the GDPR effectively and sustainably.

This includes detailed analyzes of existing data processing processes, identification of critical compliance gaps and the development of pragmatic solutions. The aim is for companies not only to meet formal requirements, but to understand data protection as an integral part of their corporate culture.

Compliance Frameworks & Technical Architectures

Implementing the GDPR outside the EU requires comprehensive compliance frameworks tailored to the special needs of internationally active companies. Designing technical architectures forms the backbone of these efforts to ensure that data protection is implemented practically and reliably.

This includes the selection and integration of suitable technologies for data encryption, access control and data minimization as well as systems for continuous monitoring and documentation.

Harmonization of SOX, HIPAA, CCPA & GDPR

International companies must meet a variety of regulatory requirements (SOX, US-GAAP, HIPAA, CCPA). My task is to support companies in complying with these requirements and to clearly define the interfaces between different international legal frameworks.

Through detailed gap analyses, I identify conflicts and gaps to harmonize compliance programs. Continuous training ensures that employees are always up to date.

CSDDD Adaptation for North and South America

The European Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) poses challenges for internationally active companies in global supply chains. I develop realistic adaptation strategies that connect European requirements with the realities in North and South America.

A key focus is the implementation of concrete instruments such as whistleblower systems to ensure compliance and minimize risks in the supply chain.
